RE: NJAIRE Claims Guidelines

I have enclosed a copy of the revised Claims Guidelines from the New Jersey Automobile Insurance Risk Exchange Plan of Operations. The NJAIRE Board of Directors approved a change to the claims guidelines eliminating all references to the "$200 tort threshold" and "subject claims", which are no longer in use. The "Index Claim System" has been changed to reflect its replacement, "ISO ClaimSearch". The revised portion is section 2, part 5 of the Plan of Operations.
